I love fantasy stories and through DnD found my passion of writing once more. I have written many stories, but finally starting to publishing some of my work. I will start with publishing the story of the DnD campaign which is still ongoing but almost finished.
It is written from the perspective of Adaly, a charcoal black tiefling. I based her on a build I saw online of somebody who made a female wizard and sold her first born to multiple entities, and I thought that was a interesting concept, only I wanted to play the child. Together with my husband, who was our DM, I made this work in the world he was building. He wanted to make a high level campaign, where the big bad is an arch-devil, which we decided was Adaly’s biological father.
I will not place the full backstory here yet (currently that is about 50 pages), but few relevant things are that Adaly is at least sold twice, once to her biological father, the arch-devil, and once to a hag. She was raised by the hag, but her father has been trying to collect her, so she has been on the run for her entire adult life. We also developed a bit of the tieflings cultures, they typically pick their own names at 10. Adaly picked her own name, and it means Alone in infernal. Also the more intense the color of their skin the more powerful the tiefling is, Adaly is almost pitch black.
I hope you enjoy the story, it started as a writing exercise but I am very pleased how it is turning out!
